Although it looks straightforward in applying the 4G & 5G communication in most of the applications, it lies in some technical know-how in networking coupled with the unique feature of the industrial router to make make it a great interconnected system as a whole.
For instance, In smart building applications for elevator monitoring projects. IO monitoring can be available directly from the Navigateworx routers where the IO points can be monitored directly from the remote host system via a standard Modbus protocol. For a more secure network that requires high security, VPN such as L2tp and open VPN can be utilized. In such an environment, choosing an antenna to give the best signal strength is also something to consider when we are able to evaluate the best antenna solution for you. In cases where Short messages are required by the lift controller or PLC to send out Short messages, the Navigateworx router is able to provide that function to you, where in this case, the serial communication ports at the NR router can be of great use. For that com port, it can do the job even further for transparent communication to the PLC or lift controller.
